We have a new backyard mural!

With the help of professional artist Milan Basic, the youth and staff completed a new mural located in our backyard.  The mural is full of inspiration and hope for current and future residents, and an example of a creative and fun sober experience here at Peak!


Peak House is pleased to announce our recent achievement as the 2009 recipient of the ASAP (Association of Addiction Specialists & Allied Professionals) Award of Excellence in Addictions.

Award Description:
The Association of Substance Abuse Programs of BC has been the voice for addictions in British Columbia for the past 17 years. During this time, many individuals and programs have made major contributions to the BC addictions field through service, research and advocacy. This award was created as a way to acknowledge the hard work and commitment of our colleagues.

EXCELLENCE IN ADDICTIONS
Excellence includes collaborative practice, client centered service and commitment to best practices, innovation and leadership.

PEAK HOUSE HONOURED WITH EXCELLENCE IN ADDICTIONS AWARD

Location: Vancouver, BC

With a 21-year history of serving the needs of young people and their families across the province, Peak House is pleased to announce our recent achievement as the 2009 recipient of the ASAP (Association of Addiction Specialists & Allied Professionals) Award of Excellence in Addictions.

Peak House is a 10-week, co-ed, residential program for youth aged 13-18 who are ready to challenge the effects of substance misuse in their lives. It is a part of the Pacific Youth and Family Services Society, a non-profit society with a mandate to support and encourage programs for youth and families.
