Peak House Nominated for the Carol Matusicky Distinguished Service to Families Award

Peak House is honoured to have been nominated for the Carol Matusicky Distinguished Service to Families Award from the BC Council for Families.

The award recognizes organizations, programs, collaborations and family service professionals who have made a demonstrable, measurable impact on the wellbeing of families and the field of human services in British Columbia. It is named for Dr. Carol Matusicky, a lifelong champion for families and longtime leader of the BC Council for Families.

For more than 35 years, Peak House has walked alongside young people and their families as they navigate substance use and work toward healing. Being recognized among organizations doing this kind of work across the province is a meaningful reflection of our community: the youth who trust us with their stories, the families who do the hard work of healing together, and the staff who show up with care every day.

Thank you to the BC Council for Families and to everyone who makes this work possible.
